
Last Sight Before the Big Crunch
This character was a commission for
Vito_Talford, of his character Fenrir Lokison!
I had never modeled a suit before, so I ended up going between Maya and ZBrush quite a lot in order to figure out the topology while retaining the shape. This also marks my first commission rendered in Renderman as opposed to Source Filmmaker, as well as my first foray into using Depth of Field to blur out his far-away-face ever so slightly. Rigging this character also helped me squash out a lot of bugs in the rigging tool that I'm developing for Maya, which is coming along very nicely making adding+editing control rigs on characters very quick and convenient.
