Thank you for this. That was one of the strongest scenes in recent cinema and I'm glad that you honor it like this.
What really gets me about that scene is the fact that Hiccup tried to turn his father's body over--you can really see him straining--but couldn't, not until Valka came to help him.

Yeah!! I tend to prefer being lighthearted since a lot of fandoms just seem to love rolling around in deep dark shit... not me; I'm here for escapism (plenty of catharsis in my own life LMAO). But this just seemed like the perfect way to wrap up this little saga. :'D
