Rar, I am aware, I enjoy it muchly. Suikoden. (Except for IV).

Heh, sorry. I guess I'm a bit too used to people who have never heard of the series.

IV never existed as far as I'm concerned. V at least remembered what made the earlier games good (reoccurring characters, melodrama without being emo, the feeling of an epic occurrence that happens right at the front door of your home, et cetera).

Granted, now I'm just thinking of the various characters in that game as furs... Jowy most certainly is a mink, kinda weaselly, but a pretty boy. Riou more, hmmm, ursine, almost. Quiet, bearlike, or maybe just make him a badger since one of Viktor's nicknames is "bear."

I need to go back and give V a chance; I was so put off by IV, I was willing to call III the end of the series.

I can see that. Haha, the fur thing is pretty nerdy though; remeber the geek hierarchy where the lowest you can possibly be is writing fanfic where Capt Kirk is an ocelot. That _might_ be right next it to.

V feels more Suikoden than IV ever did. And I'm kinda wanting to pick up Tierkris (SP) for the DS, since at least it isn't like Suikoden's first foray into the handheld world (Suikoden Card Battles... why! Fuck you Konami! And why haven't you released Suikoden I & II for the PSP over here?).

Yeah, it's nerdy, very nerdy, ungodly nerdy, but, meh, I say it's just stuffing various furs in people's costumes.

One of my friends who is a big fan of III was saying he really enjoyed the DS Suikoden.
I and II are both available for download (cheap, too!) on the PS3... would be nice to have them portable, though.
