This was the first image I drew when sitting down to think about the
project. This pretty much summed up everything to me, as well.
Color and mood and era and so on.

I did my sketching for this with conté because I didn't want to be
tempted into making finished images to soon. And it's impossible
for me to do more than loose gestural work with messy chalk like this.
