This one is oddly shaped because it spans the top halves of two pages
in the book, with text underneath it on both pages. So technically it takes
up the same area as a full page single illustration, but it varies the images
to do this and it allows me to have a nice wide shot like this. It imposes a
kind of stillness and order the forest to let these horizontal moments
happen.

They are having a conversation here, and so things really aren't that
hectic, actually.

Notice how the Wolf carefully avoids touching the path, though he is
following her. Already he seems less stunningly imposing; big sure,
but he's kind of gangly and pussyfooted really. There isn't that same
glamour about him.
