Very powerful image... The background shapes emphasis your point about the world being complicated and the business of it sort of forces the viewers' eyes back to the crows and her hands as more simple shapes.

Again, loving the color and the style.

Also, the crows aren't just flat two-dimensional creatures here. There is this brief moment of
lighting and shading and they fill out into more real people than just flat evil menaces.

I love the bit of lighting you did to suggest 3 dimensions and life in what would otherwise be flat and more symbolic. This one is probably one of my favorites of this series.

This is my favourite image from the book. I love the harmony of the colours, and the feather details of the solid black crow where the light hits him.

I love how you describe your images and process - these things are still really abstract in my mind when I work and it's very inspiring to see the details of creative thought of an artist whose work I really enjoy. Keep sharing please!

I really dig this image. I love the crows and like the stylistic imagery and a touch of religious iconagraphy.

It does feel warmer, some caring coming out of strife.

I find it interesting that the background and the clothing that is visible have more detail and pattern then the crows.
