This is probably the most intensely rendered work ive done in the past few years that wasn't a comic page.
The longer i draw for, the more commercial preasure is put on my work, the more i have to sacrifice detail for speed TTxTT

On a larger scale, France was once reknown for its artistic diversity, quality and encouragement. Since we had "Bling-Bling Sarkozy" for president, whose only care was for money and power, did you hear of us on this level anymore?

Last comic out of france to impress me was Sky doll, which FUCKING BLEW MY SOCKS OFF!!
But i havent seen or heard of something as high in quality, or as up my alley from france in a while.
Mind you i dont keep as close an eye on these things as i used to. Too busy making my own entertainment. ^^!

Oh, there are many interesting french artists (or at least french releases) down there but rare are those who are exporting. Sky Doll is kind of old already; as for me one (small) serie that completely made me mad beside Sky Doll, is Prophet by Mathieu Lauffray. Not furry, but amazing art...

Yes they are, but they were hired in France to work for Disney and this is where they did BlackSad, so it was released in french first. Hopefully it was translated and got the fame and success it deserved internationally.

As for the two others, I'm afraid there is no release outside France, no translation, like most France/Belgium creations. Its been a long time since i threw that much time into rendering a face. I do comics now, and comics have to be really fast. But I was kinda interested in taking my line rendering to its logical extreme. Glad that its a hit with you though! Might do more of it XD
