For this week's "Throwback Thursday" offering during my latest 'sweeps month' (September, 2016), I have another 'photo-op' taken by my brother Glenn with the digital camera feature of his smartphone...

Wherever he goes lately, Glenn travels in his black and grey Mini-Cooper (one of the first models in America with 'automatic transmission' instead of using a stick shift). He has owned it so long, in fact, that this very month the odometer of his car is about to roll over from 99,999 to 100,000 miles! Since buying this car, he is obsessed with all things pertaining to the Mini-Cooper. He has conversations with other Mini owners (including some of our neighbors in the same condo complex who also own one). And he has collected Mini memorabilia (model cars, decals, etc.) over the past decade...

So, you can imagine his surprise, when Glenn came across a customized car - consisting of three or four Mini-Coopers welded together, and mostly painted pink - in the form of a limousine! (It also features an extra-long sunroof and a built-in music system!) He just had to take a picture of it... Wouldn't you?!

Of course, Glenn is obsessed with other vehicles, besides Mini-Coopers, and has taken recent snapshots of some of them. I hope to post more of them in future "Throwback Thursdays"!
