Wait. Is this Kris knife only out for show? You aren't allowed to sheathe the Kris knife without it touching any blood! Didn't Shadout Mapes teach you those basic rules while being the head housekeeper of the house atreides and all those years of Uzul living with the fremen didn't do anything either? :/
BTT : I like what you did there :)

KULL WAHAD !!! , I did not believe (rather, I did not imagine) some cultist in the saga of Frank Herbert here (my favorite cult saga, I have the movie Lynch-DeLaurentis and the games for Pc), It is a pleasure to see such a tasteful display of these properties (I myself have two, I hope to place them here soon).
I loved the detail of the distil-suits and the Atreides House banner (although at Dune2000 I liked playing with the Harkonnen: their Palace was cooler because of launching a family missile). Great job, really.
Could you go and see what I do ?, the comment is appreciated.

About the first thing you said, I also saw the movie in the 80's and came to resume the saga a little over 4 years ago. In fact I'm looking for the books of the saga in its printed version: I have everything in PDF, Epubs and CBR's. With regard to the second, yes, there is a preference for the MLP of the 80's (it was a theme too absurd to ignore and forget), but I have reasons to adore this new generation.
To begin with, it was COMPLETELY ANIMATED IN FLASH (to see how many are drooling with that 3D Pixar or Dreamwork style, which take away so much imagination).
Anyway, it's a matter of giving it a chance, it's not perfect but it's not to throw it away (I know of many series that are not worth even to incinerate).
