You honor, the defense moves for a mis-trial on account of the witness being a possible ghost. Until we know for certain that she was indeed not killed on the night of the crime and is not merely a spectre unaware of her status, her qualifications to testify are in doubt.

Unfortunately, if he'd said the much less condescending "But you're here, so obviously he didn't kill you," that could be grounds for objection for leading the witness.

Obvious follow-up:
"Did he attempt to kill you?"

Obvious answer:
"No, because I got right the fuck out of there instead of waiting around to see if he meant it or not."

Can't tell you how many times I've had to have a similar discussion at work:

9-1-1 operator: "Was he armed?"
Me: "I don't know. I wasn't exactly in the mood to find out."
