These guys are part of a species called Kinutaurs, they are very down to earth creatures whom prefer to live in large families/colonies of their own (but not limited to) kind.
They can be divided into 3 separate hierarchies:
Blood: Consists mostly of warriors/rogues/paladins etc, and rely solely on physical strength and endurance. These types of Kinutaur thrive off of powerful bloodlines and a big part of their success and survival depends on support from their peers. They need strong bonds to move forward, and are considered to be at the top of the hierarchy. However; for a Kinutaur to be Blood they must be born into a bloodline of that class.
Nature: Limited to Earth magic, meaning they can manipulate elements to a certain extent and are very in tune with their surroundings. They make great artists and workers, and are often seen as more of a working class. They are behind most of Kinutaur architecture and design, and thrive off of color and beauty. A corrupt Nature Kinutaur would most likely be either a hermit, or simply overwhelmed by their connection to Earth and overcome with emotion. If corrupted, some can become powerful enough to create natural disaster, and even gain control over certain aspects of weather. This, however; is very rare.
Spirit: Whilst Nature Kinutaur are connected with the Earth, Spirit Kinutaur have a deep connection with the spirit world an magic, and many of them choose to live isolated or travel in small groups. They are more nomadic than most, and although considered the lowest part of the hierarchy, they are not quite as common as Nature Kinutaurs are. Unlike others, they have a strong preference for cold, harsh weather, and reside mostly in northern parts of the land. They have a pain strong tolerance, and are very powerful when provoked. Luckily enough, although they do surround themselves with dangerous magic and beings from other worlds, they are rather hard to provoke/anger.
