Here's something I whipped together in an art mock exam a while back at school. I was given five hours, i spent the first two working on this. It features a skull atop a table leaking wine (Not blood) out of the sockets as a candle burns on top. The scene resembles a cabin with a window facing out into a starry sky while there is a picture frame in the background reflecting the whole thing.
