The pod shot out of the ship and started to drop toward the planet. Deimos sat at the helm, but the controls didn't work for him.
"What is this?" Deimos asked out loud and checked the autopilot switch "Why do the controls not work?"
D and Artison then both looked too, but the answer appeared on its own through a pop-up screen.
"I'm steering this, actually," Alexa said "I saw some fail safes when got inside, so I disabled the controls and communication on this pod so they couldn't just use this to trap us."
"You have to be one of the most fascinating spirits I've ever seen." Artison said "I've never known one to be as peaceful as you."
D just looked over at him in annoyance, then back at Alexa "So, Where are we going?"
"I'm flying us to a city I managed to learn about from the networks." She said "I don't know where we should go though after that."
"We should not fly there to begin with." Deimos said "if the Irken empire controls it they'll arrest us once they see us, and if it's not they'll shoot us down as soon as they see the pod."
"You actually have a point." Alexa said "Then where would you say I should set down?"
"Out side the gun defenses of that colony, We'll walk there."
"How'd this war happen to begin with?" D asked
Deimos looked at him for a moment, then looked back out the window. "That planet belonged to the Irken Empire, and still does. We'd use it as an area to make large space ships, like The Gigantic. It worked out when when we grabbed a hold; We could mine up metals under ground and anything that broke off while building fell the the planet surface."
"Some of your wording leaves me perplex." Artison said "How'd the war start on this planet?"
"They attacked us," Deimos said "We were just using mined ore and making parts until they raided one of the refineries. They wanted our resources, so we've been fighting them to keep them."
"Oh... Oh dear..." Artison said "Are you losing?"
"Of course not," Deimos said "The Irken race can not be defeated by mere sabotages."
"You nearly died at an attacked base." D reminded him "How can you still say that?"
"Because we are winning." Deimos said "Every month there are less and less Resisty."
"Resisty?" Artison looked at him perplexed with ears flicking a bit. "Aside from how stupid that name sounds, it sounds like a resistance group."
"Yeah, that's what they call themselves out as," Deimos growled as his ears lowered "But they're just a bunch of menaces that want us to not do anything. Imprison us on our planets and ships."
"Oh dear..."
"And it's gotten worse Recently. Ships stolen, Irken soldiers executed, and you two already know about the base attack"
"It already sounds like they're doing well." D said "Maybe we could help you stop the attacks?"
"Why?" He asked the fox "You'll still are considered a menace to the Irken race."
"To be a good Samaritan?" Artison said "Tis why I will, Of our beliefs: When in Argasha, do as the Argashans do."
"Ironically we have a similar saying, but no." D said "I want to becuase I think its the right thing to do."
"Approaching destination." Alexa informed them.
Deimos smiled slightly "Good to hear. Just be sure to listen to me if we're going to stop the Resisty."
