I like how the jacket is simplistic. I also like vermont slate floors :D

the slate wraps around to the right there following the wall to the back door. The door behind me leads to the mud room with the front door and garage door. It's all slate.

I cropped it out, but to the right of me, along the wall with the slate, is an old chimney we don't use for a cooking stove.

I know of other houses with slate in them as well. It's a very common occurance around here. I never thought to call them "Vermont Slate Floors". We even have a free standing Slate Wall outside in the front yard, and the walkways around the house are all slate.

And being the "Granite Capital" of the world, we're also covered in granite. The slate pathways outside are surrounded by a granite rock bed.

I know all about it heh... I just like the look of a multicolored slate floor and the major company that produces that stuff is in Vermont so it's considered Vermont Slate :P I guess ;)

I thought New Hampshire was the Granite State o.o

It is, but New Hampshire doesn't have the "Granite Capital" city, which is my hometown.
