It's all the difference in the world between selling yourself, and selling yourself out. Your art is awesome enough to warrant payment for it. I wouldn't disagree to seeing a link to your patreon on your home page, or stamped at the bottom of your images.
But if I ever find a link to a site with a bunch of awesomely blurred out images, wanting a credit card number, then I hope the pay is super awesome. 'cause I might shake my fist a little ^_^
