"Something terrible happened to Erebus. Some tragic event in his past shaped this fundamental level of his personality. I assume the event is long over, yet it still has a powerful influence on his life. What happened lies in the dark and I don’t expect Erebus to reveal it to me, or anyone else, at once, maybe not at all. It could be anything from having been physically or sexually abused, over betrayal by a true companion to killing a loved one; only he knows. Still, it’s understandable he wants to keep it secret. They are called personal issues for a reason, after all, but I am afraid this will lead to even more problems sometime. I have seen pokemon maddening before. The Goldenrod pokemon asylum is full of them. This time I must get through to him before it’s too late.
Sweet Arceus, disgusting! I sound like a member of the oestrogen brigade. I could bet that boy with his name spelled t-r-o-u-b-l-e and his antisocial behaviour surely gets all the kittens. The girls want a bad boy and try to help him heal his heart. Not happening! Or maybe it will?"
The Rolling Thunder rolls his eyes.
"I am not sure if Erebus really has a heart of gold to reveal. I am not even certain if he has a heart at all, but I will be damned if another one slowly slips into evil."
