My family was not always thrilled with my life choices when I was a teenager... As an adult I have many regrets about things I did to my body.

Not everybody regrets their body mods, but it's certainly understandable when folks do. Some are more undoable than others, of course.
Can piercing holes be closed up again? I'd think you could rough the inner surface and let it scar over (or at least a qualified medico could).
Tatts are mostly fixable. Brands somewhat less so. :/
Tails and other dangly bits? Mmmmmnotsomuch.

You are NOT docking your tail, Claire. It's one of your best features. And this whole 'I would be so hot as a chihuahua' kick you're on is unseemly before high school! THIS young lady waited for the proper years of teenage rebellion and has a hot miniskirt to go with it.
Docking a dog's tail in real life is in some states concidered dog cruelty, but in this context it comes of as hilarious, especially her parents reactions to the sight of her having her tail docked. In the long run though she may have done herself a major disfavour since there is a chance of complications arising such as inflamation, infection, chronic pains and neural damage if the docking procedure wasn't done in a correct or healthy manner. Still, I get the humor and had a laugh out of it. :)
