ohgod, Papyrus is actually more obnoxious than Comic Sans in a way, It has JUST ENOUGH seriousness to its look that its far more insidious in its EXTREME overuse. Makes me want to de-spleen myself with a rusty taco bell plastic spork *how plastic rusts is that you let Cthulhu lick it and eldritch properties alter how plastic even works*
bet you can't read this strip without this playing in your head: https://youtu.be/FKdtstAo6iU
Amateurs. You will be cursed to hear this while you look at this comic: https://youtu.be/V-mrCVDL9G4
Good day!
I love this and I love the strip you did, "Poor Man's Lobster"!
I'm thinking of trying this with monkfish, to better emulate that shellfish texture. My only question is, roughly how much water do you use for that amount of steeping agents? I know that the ratio of water to "other stuff" will determine the amount of flavor that the fish will pick up while simmering.
Thoughts?

I'll be honest, I eyeball most of my cooking and had a rough time figuring out the right ratios. And monkfish would probably be great considering it supposedly tastes a lot like lobster to begin with. Usually my water amount it just 'whatever fills the pot two thirds of the way'. Most of the recipes I find online of the same thing suggest six cups of water though.
Fantastic! I'll start there and experiment with ratios.
Thank you!
Oh, as for Monkfish tasting like lobster, it's got a stronger flavor. Mostly, I think, when people say it "tastes" like lobster, they're mistaking texture for taste. It has the same, shellfish-like resistance and mouthfeel that shrimp and lobster have in common.
I definitely recommend you try it: it's quite tasty!
Thank you, again; great to see more of your work like this! :)
