Four destroyers, the Arleigh Burke (the progentor herself farthest left), James E. Williams (farthest right) , and the two in the center are the Gonzalez and the Cole (which was attacked in 2000.)

I saw the Gonzalez get launched at the Bath Iron Works slips in Bath, Maine.

That must have been pretty neat. I've always wanted to see a launch or a christening.

I've seen 5 - 6, both christening and launch. It's impressive seeing them.

The Gonzalez was christened by the mother of the Marine she's named after.
