This was my entry for a contest over at the Gargoyles Aquatic started by Gryphinwyrm7 over on DeviantArt. The task was to re-design the leader of the Loch Ness clan. The main requirements were that the character had to have legs (as in, not be like a mermaid:P), a tail with fins and manta ray-like wings.

I totally could not resist drawing him with a fin mohawk and a kilt. The spiky fins on his arms and legs were inspired by Abe Sapien from Hellboy. I actually went on to re-design this character and made him my own :)
