Fire And Brimstone
Welp, we're boned. Or flattened.
First of all, before anyone gets their hopes up: This is probably one of the only macro pictures I'll ever draw.
It's not that I dislike macro or anything, but as topic it just doesn't really interest me and it takes a huge amount of work, which is why I don't see myself offering macro pictures as commissions.
There are just other topics that I enjoy drawing more.
This picture an exception, because as a birthday present, I had total control over it, which allowed me a more relaxed way of working, which is why I decided to experiment with the macro subject to begin with.
I know that this will disappoint a lot of people and I am terribly sorry about that, but that decision is final.
Anyway, this was a birthday gift for my dear friend
Cirez who's having his birthday today! :3
I wanted to surprise him with something special, so I decided to give him a proper macro rampagin'! It took a LOT of work to draw this, but eventually I included more and more ideas that I liked.
So working on it, while being exhausting, was very rewarding as the picture slowly came together. The final result is just as I hoped it would be and from seeing Cirez' reaction, it made working on this picture all the more worth it!
Enjoy!

Thank you SO SO much for this awesome birthday present. I don't expect presents, being friends already makes me happy enough. <3
But seeing THIS really blew me away. You dedicated so much time and effort into this piece of art. I did not expect you to draw a macro piece for me. x3 Thank you SO much for this wonderful present. I love how you drew me in this detailed setting of a rampaged city. All those details, the debris, meteorites. This is destruction. I also love how you gave me this evil facial expression and those glowing yes.
Thank you so very much, Nighty. It means a lot to me. <3 <3 <3
You are very welcome Cirez. :3 At first I wasn't sure about this, because, well you know me, macro is just not something I am really interested in. But since this gave me a chance to try this without restrictions and for a good cause as well, I decided to give it a shot. So I am really glad you enjoy this so much! :3
I am really happy that I could give you this as a birthday present. :3

Wow, words cannot even begin to explain how awesome this piece. The sheer amount of detail is fantastic, especially in the perspective and the sheer amount of destruction in the buildings surrounding the awesome giant. The detail in the muscles is beautiful, and overall it's such a fantastic masterful piece of art.
This is seriously amazing!
