Endless Realms - Brimtide Campaign - Tavern Map
Campaign artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
Ooh, been a while since I've done a map, and my first time attempting top-down "dungeon" maps! The art director didn't want anything too fancy, but still got a number of opportunities to play around with things. Pretty happy with it :) This tavern belongs to the town of Brimtide Point, an Endless Realms campaign setting, and will be a major hub for players - in fact, players are responsible for getting the old thing up and running again! (That's why I couldn't add more decorations/accessories :b)

I love this. I had no trouble figuring out what everything was (aside from the job board) before noticing the text on the left. It's very clearly illustrated, and looks very interesting and inviting.
Now I'm not sure about the stairs going from 1st to 2nd floor, as they appear slightly impossible
On a different note, I wish this game had support for custom species.

Yeah, the stairs sorta bugged me after I noticed it but it seemed too big of a fuss to change everything. I imagine there's a stretch of stairs that goes along the left wall that isn't shown, and that it cuts into the ceiling of the pantry a bit and has a very low roof given the bedroom right there ;) Then again, I've been in a few old buildings now that I've been around Europe more, and that sort of weird architectural thing isn't uncommon.
But anyway, thanks a lot, glad to hear it :3 Yeah, thought about trying to put papers or something on the job board, but thought it might just be better to label it than clutter it up unintelligibly.
On the plus side, there's always house-ruling! I don't think I've ever played a campaign where everything was 100% from the source material :b

Yeah, 4 through 6 have bunk beds in them (the beds with wooden frames and what's supposed to be a ladder next to them). To be fair, the image is at something like 12% zoom so hopefully it's a bit easier to see when it's bigger. Also, that's why there are handy write-ups for campaigns, 'cause not everything can be shown on maps!
