All the toony shit we enjoy got started with characters like this, when cinema itself was still a novelty, and animation was nothing less than magic.
And yes, the "MOM" tatoo is one of those classics that never gets stale. Like the drunk with the stoplight nose, the little neighborhood tough buy named "Butch", or the babe with the hourglass figure and exaggerated swish that provokes vampy drum stings every time she walks.
