One of the more interesting clans of daemons that call B’nahum home is the Firen clan. The clan is composed of hybrids daemons and elementals which gives its members unique and often quite powerful abilities. The son of one such pairing, Kriihss Firen literally brightens up anywhere he goes. Kind and helpful towards his clan members, this light elemental is quite the traveler and has already seen more of the world than most daemons will in their entire lifetime. While Mama B’nat rarely leaves B’nahum there are occasionally questions about the outside world that need answering, and that’s where this helpful Firen comes into the picture. As the ever dutiful servant, Kriihss’ specialty in reconnaissance makes him a steady and reliable source of information.

Like all Firen, his elemental affinity can be quickly ascertained from a glance. His magnificent, luminescent wings can shine as brightly as a sun or as dull as a single candle all based on his whim and will. For very brief moments, Kriihss is capable of amazing bursts of speed almost reminiscent of teleportation. This requires a great expenditure of energy though and he must allow for a good deal of time to recharge before attempting such a feat again. His control over the light affords him offensive uses such as bursts of blinding light to disorient enemies, or defensive as well through “stealing” the light in a localized area to cloak himself in darkness.
