aaaah, just when I think this old timer can't get any cuter
its probably not a surprise that with that feisty attitude of his he ends up being the butt of many skunk related incidents. ah well, it adds to his country charm sans the smell (though maybe that could add a bit to it though ahaha. if it does down a bit anyways :P )
really cute drawing man! you certainly know how to pick them!

I'm glad you like Grunkle Vernon! Yes, his feisty, stubborn attitude gets him into plenty of trouble. Skunk smell from a distance is one of my favorite smells, so I wouldn't be surprised if Vernon tried to pass off any lingering skunkiness on his body as cologne (he's got a slightly higher success rate flirty with women compared to getting into disputes with skunks).
Thanks for the fav!
marymouse does wonderful work!

It's cute and cartoony, but of course my pedantry won't let me enjoy it as much since, despite being quite potent, skunk scent doesn't actually draw flies (it certainly hasn't anytime I've been skunky, which is a lot :P)
Oh, and if Grunkle Vernon were more determined he'd probably win the fight in the long run, once the blinding effect of the spray wore off. I've been in possession of (being an "owner" or "master" is too strong a word) a border collie/terrier mix that had quite a delayed reaction to being sprayed and, if I hadn't pulled him off the skunk whose neck he was biting, might've killed the poor thing.
