Hertz finally convinces Max to breed with her (he wants to, ‘cause he’s really attracted to her, but he’s been too self-conscious about the fact that he’s smaller than her). This is part of Volt’s backstory. IDK why it starts the way it does. She was probably puttin the moves on him and he must’ve had a moment of panic. She’s patient.
