I've been meaning to get my ref sheet updated for a while now. As much as I loved it, there was just so much that wasn't me anymore. The goggles, a stylistic choice at the time, weren't doing it for me anymore. They were originally added just to have some sort of accessory, but they never really felt needed. As for the camo shorts, that was a phase that died out around 9th grade. The biggest change I needed though were my wing arms. I loved the design and still do, using feathers for fingers and having no traditional hands, but it made a lot of art a bit awkward if I wanted to hold many props. Folks have done a great job in the past, but I needed hands.

This is where  marymouse comes in. She made the first sheet, and I could think of no one better to do the update. Hell, the character is mostly her design anyway. When I commissioned the first sheet from her back in the beginning of my days in the fandom all I said was I wanted a blue jay with green eyes, camo shorts, and goggles. She designed all my markings and look herself. This time was much of the same. I dictated the hand placement and glasses. She decided to change my wingtips black, pattern my thighs (as it was previously dealer's choice what under my shorts looked like), and lightended my legs and hands.

Just like before she did an amazing job. It feels more... more me. I finally have glasses (though my real ones aren't as cool. I love half moon specs), and my hands strike the perfect balance of looking like I just have my old wing arms from the outside while still allowing me hands to hold and manipulate with on the inside.

Sorry about the text vomit, but I'm just so freaking jazzed right now. I've wanted this for forever now, and I'm so happy to finally see it happen! I hope y'all like the new me as much as I do!
