I blame this solely on seeing some flayer art by  homicidalmanda And she reminded me of my love for these terrible critters from the underdark.

Old characters of mine slightly#because I don't play that D&D game anymore but still like my characters. A lot. And yes, all my flayers have genders. I know they don't in the actual D&D game, but in my fantasy land they DO! So I can draw them doing horrible things to each other. hur hur. Also, I gave them ears. I like pointy ears. There are many incarnartions of Illithids/Mind Flayers in many different stories/games/etc so, these are my incarnations. If all else fails, they are just friggin' anthro octopus/squid people. Damnit. No LOGIC.

Casra was my main character. Female Mind Flayer. Look. Boobies. She is cute. I'll probably draw her getting molested at some point...*tear* I am terrible. She now has light colored rings on her tentacles and her bird skull shoulder pads have#

Also, Sin. He is a bad thing. BAD. He is also marked like a blue ringed octopus. The marks change and stuff depending on how he#they can be tiny, huge, etc etc. He is also venomous (dur) but can pretty much with hold said venom if he wants to, but that is rare since he likes to torture people and then venomize(Ha) them anyway even after he said he wouldn't. Yes yes. He is very sadistic and likes to abuse things and molest stuff. He also likes brains and hearts and internal organs for snacks.

I have another character who was made for my husband. He likes to run around with Casra and they probably do bad stuff even though she like, is kinda innocent and cute and doesn't entirely understand. He's#or something. I'll figure it out#never actaully made a color scheme for him.
