Dead again, Orisein?

Given that Nibel seems to be 90% made of spikes, crushy rocks, and laser cannons, it's a wonder why Ori even bother with that dumb place and don't just move to somewhere that isn't 90% made up of spikes and isn't infested with a gigantic legion of shadow owls that want him very, very dead.

It does not help that Ori is... not exactly the most badass critter ever ; he's adorable but also very frail, kind of cowardly, and generally unable to keep himself from dying. Heck, Ori end up dying and having to be revived by the very intro! It's to the point that his most emblematic pose is him lying down, having starved to death on the edge of a cliff.

But well, he's cute and the game he stars in is a magnificient one.

Well the spikes and rock and lasers aren't explainable. But note that there are OTHER RACES here and not just spirit guardian.
The fact you are saying him being coward just is wrong, he is a CHILD and how are you suppose to say a child can face off against an Owl that is 50 times his size? Your saying this is like saying you can call a child to shoot someone at gun point, they can't.
If your saying he dies to much then think again cause at the time there are no food nor water to keep him alive so death IS imenant.
