The last in a set of space macro commission pictures for
stampy of his gal, Erika holding a planet to be disintegrated by a black hole.
This is probably one of my most abstract space pieces by needed to interpret what a black hole would look like. I was handed a rendered graphic of one and went with that. The actual drawing process was not too terribly difficult.
Done with the usual Prismacolor pencils on black cardstock paper. ^^

Thanks so much for taking up this idea and finishing it off! It was a really fun concept But I just never really got around to working on it properly. You did an outstanding job with this. The black hole looks fantastic, the planet destruction looks great, and Erika looks wonderful.
Great work!
Great work!
Thanks! :D It was a great faaaantastic challenge and you supplied just the right references to make it look good. ^^
In terms of unique content, this is probably my favorite. Literally, most space art can be pretty bland. Thankfully for us macrophiles, we have plenty of character to make it a bit more unique both on adding their physical selves...... and what they are doing to the spacescape. o3o
