The main character from my screenplay; StarShip Alpha. Armed with an AutoTech Janus A2-44 weapon system The rear clip and top barrel fires standard 5.56x45mm rounds, the weapon can also be set to fire 12 gauge shotgun shells from the front clip, and lower barrel.

Nice, I like how you designed the gun. It almost seems do-able in real life...
That'd be awesome if someone did this kind of clip system with an actual gun, instead of just sticking a grenade launcher on the barrel and calling it a day.
Of course, It'd probably be a bitch to use, with the extra ammo you'd be carrying, the weight, and of course the recoil if you decide to shoot both kinds of ammo at once would be hell on your shoulder.
