This cheerful dude was supposed to be a priest of Hextor, god of tyranny and discord, whose clerics tend to rent themselves out as military muscle. Then of course I got the Hextorite iconography on the wall wrong (there should be one more pair of arms) but I still like the idea of the Greyhawk deity being represented as sort of a Tibetan demonic figure. The li'l skull necklace on the icon are the major races that worship Hextor, gnolls, hobgoblins, and humans.

Nothing meaningful, to be honest. "As a foreigner, I expected my feet to be shod in cymbals." It's the thing the Teutonic Knights chant in Alexander Nevsky - you can find the track at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kW-icFD3dA
Eee, the composition on this pic is groovy, I love how the mural towers somewhat over the dude, and how the uneven line of decay around it excites the eye.
Forgive me, but I would to pipe up with the criticism that the shield seems - flat and contiguous with the merc's shadow.
