In a parallel universe, Silver the gryphon defends his homeland. His Spitfire is being pressed to its limits, weaving and dodging Nazi bullets while escorting bombers to their target. He's got a fighter in his sites and one on his tail. He's calm as he presses the trigger, ready to break right as soon as his bullets hit their target.

Note: I know that the uniform is wrong for a British fighter pilot. A gryphon probably wouldn't need anything for warmth, but I started with it and kept going-- it was fun doing the leather and wool.
