"Mmm, hey there..."

Jax opened her eyes and murmured her casual greeting as she attempted to rouse herself from the sleepy lassitude which had washed over her as she lazed about on the bed. The sensation of a finely-furred body sliding over hers had jostled her from her wandering thoughts - that which belonged to her pet, Laura. The short-muzzled, orange furred fox said nothing at first as she raised herself up on her arms, clad in naught but the purple underwear she favoured. Then a smile crept across her lips and her ears flattened demurely as she gazed into her shark-snouted mistress's eyes.

"Hi there, fishface."

This elicited the usual rolling of eyes from the silver-grey toned sharkess, who was caught between amusement and mild annoyance at the nickname, "Do I look like a...a...goldfish...or something...to you?" she asked in a mock-challenging tone and haughtily tilted her head and up to the side, "I am a shark, a proud predator on land, sea, or space. Not some...floundering trout..."

"Fishface, fishface, fishface!" Laura countered in a thrilling tone, amused as always by the playful offense her mistress took to that term. Grinning now, she leaned in and kissed her mistress's angular snout and purred out in a conciliatory tone. "Mmm...how about we kiss and make up..."

"Mmm..." Jax purred and sighed as Laura's soft lips caressed along her elongated snout and she got an eyeful of cleavage that the bra cupped the vixen's small, but perky breasts into - a sight she found very appealing, "I guess we could...but at least I'm not a chicken thief..."

"I am NOT a chicken thief!" Laura immediately countered, breaking the kiss to pick up a pillow and swat it at her sharky lover with her foxy features scrunching up into mock and haughty offense at the very suggestion.

"Then how did my roast chicken vanish from my plate earlier?" Jax countered and crossed her arms across her face to defend herself from the pillowy attack, grinning behind her impromptu shield, "I certainly didn't eat it and it had gone when I came back from the loo!"

"Must have been, uh, crows," Laura sulkily muttered as a denial, and crossed her arms belong her bust, "yes, crows. Crows flew in through the window and flew off with your chicken."

"Crows, huh?"

"Yes. Crows."

Jax gazed at her skeptically for a moment, before a sly smile crept across her maw and she crooked a finger towards herself, "Mmm, in that case, you'd best kiss me so I can see if your breath is extra-chickeney. For investigative purposes only, of course."

"Oh, of course..." Laura murmured as she smirked and then leaned down to kiss her mistress, "for investigative purposes only..."

This was a lovely surprise gift for me (for both of us, really!) from laurawrn4 and drawn by the ever-awesome and talented . Nutty did great work with us both, as she always does, and this scene is both sexy and sweet and romantic and one that certainly makes me smile. Couldn't help myself when it came to writing a little bit of scene narrative to accompany it.
