Name: Detri
Gender: Female
Species: Rat/Ratfolk
Height: 3'4"/1.02m
Occupation/Class: Druid (Decay/Deathbloom)
Ideal: Death and decay is just as important to nature as life. The cycle of life must be maintained, and any perversion or cessation of death or the decomposition process is one of the must serious crimes against nature.
Personality: Awkward, quirky, passionate, quiet, compulsive, calm, appreciative, idealistic, good-natured, contemplative, dedicated, dutiful, eccentric, humble, independent, methodical, resourceful, reserved, unrefined, respectful.
Habits: Rolling around in corpses (makes her feel close to death), scavenging, teeth grinding/chattering, hand and tail fidgeting, ear twitching
Detri is a druid who works with death, decay, and decomposition. Among themselves, the rare few are known as Deathbloom Druids, but to most others they are falsely seen as either blighted/corrupted druids or necromancers due to their work with the stereotypically evil concepts of death and decay. These druids are vehemently against undead and above all else strive to maintain the cycle of life, but particularly the aspects of death and decay, as the 'life' is often focused on by other druids.
Her totem animal is a vulture, an apex scavenger and symbol of life, death, and rebirth. Every morning while meditating, she ritually shaves her head in reverence of her totem animal. She holds many different implements, including wands carved from the bones of the dead and staves broken and shaped from decaying trees. The staff she is wielding feeds a colony of turkey tail mushrooms and a giant carrion beetle familiar sits atop it. Her cloak is made of soft, black leather and adorned with long, fluffy white fur, which mimics the white collar of the Andean Condor, a species of vulture. She wears a brown leather sash adorned with other tools, all gathered from the decaying bodies of the world.
