You've got a good start here for the character and the hair style with sea weeds. The colors are a good choice for the character, I hope you can get a chance to finish this one, I'd love to see what it looks like finished.

When you do other sea creatures with different hair styles, try using other ornaments like coral reefs and those elongated tubes that sea enemanies use. That could be something like the Faunz
