Made some progress today. This model looks already better than my old Cynder. Good reference pics are very useful. :)

"Beautiful Body" would be a more accurate translation. A more literal translation would be "beautiful frame', but the context is clear in most cases that it is referring to a person's figure you find attractive.
On second thought, perhaps a better translation into slang would be "Nice Figure".
On second thought, perhaps a better translation into slang would be "Nice Figure".
Which is why I rephrased it to "Nice Figure", which specifically refers to the body and it's shape, which is closer in the american slang.
Besides, America makes almost ANY French phrase politically correct. It is in the nature of the French language to be politically incorrect... and in all kinds of good ways.
Or, as my friend liked to say: "I love swearing in French, it's like wiping your ass with silk"

Dixit "The French" in Matrix II ^^
Still, even if it comes to American slang, we are still several miles from the French slang: P
You do not have any expression referring to other things to describe the female body (or male)?
Gender, "belle croupe" "jolies airbag" "sacrés pare-chocs"... ?

Ahh, I'm glad you fixed the ankle. Your previous one was just a long, weird curve. I can't WAIT to see her getting unfed! Though....the chest looks a little weird o.o Too...roundish, ergh, hard to explain.
PIGEON CHEST. It sticks out o.o and she not got boobs, so it looks weird o.o

That's how Cynder's chest LOOKS though. (Though in some pics there's a TAD more 'point', but it's pretty subtle and varies, so meh.) :3 She's got an interesting style for sure, but it's cool~ http://cdn1.gamepro.com/blogfaction....._by_Razzek.jpg
Ergh, that's kinda messed up...I've written about dragons for two years now, and I always pictured them less pidgeon-chested. You know, like, lizard with a different gait. I mean, Cynder is hawt and all that, but her anatomy is kinda messed up o.o I guess it's because her neck points UPWARDS, and not OUTWARDS. ^^;
Meh, everyone has unique interpretations. Compare Spyro to Lair to Eragon (book covers) to Eragon (movie) to D&D to Warcraft to... The list goes on forever. If you PREFER one style of dragon design, that's fine, but there is FAR from any "right" way to draw them, especially given the obvious fact that there are multiple kinds, at minimum Western and Eastern styles if not countless variations within. ^^
At any rate, the most compelling evidence I've found of REAL dragons (by which I mean ungodly large exceptionally powerful highly intelligent fire-breathing reptiles :3) speaks of SEA creatures, no wings or flying at all. ^^
... 'xD And because I can't help but say anything, please don't do the whole "I've written for two years" thing as if that's supposed to be a brag.. I've been writing various things to do with dragons for about eight years just personally, not to mention, you know, the countless PUBLISHED sources that have been writing for decades. I don't at all mean this to be an insult to your writing, of course. Just don't brag; it's unbecoming. *nods* :3

I wasn't bragging o.o I was trying to note that it's hard to look at dragons any OTHER way after you seen them a certain way for two years+ x.x Even the larger dragons...Just, I guess it might be the front legs, they seem to join too far back, and be too spindly, from what I always imagined o.o
But nyeh, as you said, different strokes for different folks.

xD Oh wow, I haven't heard that phrase in aaagggeeesss.. Haha.
Hm. Maybe it's because it's ONLY two years? :3 I used to have a few specific patterns I liked to think of dragons as fitting into (Spyro being one of those, as I LOVED the very first one for PS1.. '^^ Hehe), but as time has passed my views have expanded. Despite this, when I draw dragons, they usually follow only a few basic styles, though these differ from the ones I had years ago.
x3 Actually, my favorite dragons now are FEATHERdragons. =P (How's that for weird?)
(*Note: Does not count Saphira in Eragon.. T_T' Because it's SKULblaka for Arceus' sake! '^^)

Oh yeah, I remember playing spyro ages back, on PS1 xD I have never seen Cynder in any games. Hell, when I first read a fanfic containing her, I though she was the orange female dragon in one of the games I played, where you have to find dragon eggs...
But I never noticed the way the chest sticks out so much, so when I did see that, it threw me o.o I always imagined, and saw them as being more bipedal. Even a horses chest doesn't stick out that much xD
But yeah, she's hawt as she is <3

Heh, Cynder is from the Legend of Spyro trilogy- really recent games. ^^ I've only played the final one, but story line was AWESOME, and the acting sucked DragonBalls. xD ("Spyro: But then the world will be destroyed.." "Cynder: We have to stop it." *emotionlessemotionless* x3 Elijah Wood is NOT a good Spyro. Lol.)
Heh, that's another big issue. When I was younger, I had a miniature comic about dragons that were all bipedal, and now I can't remember the last one I drew that wasn't quad. Lol. It's been said though that birds and dragons are akin, so maybe your pidgeon-chested remark was closer than you thought, too. ^^

To me, dragons are more akin to dinosaurs, which are close to birds as well xD
This four-legged aerodactyl. Same wingtypes, mammal that can fly, warm blooded, and yet lays eggs. Much dinosaur traits. ^^;
I like the spyro I had, I remembered playing one of the ones for PS2 and his VOICE made me stop playing....he sounded like a F-ing nerd! All nasally and stuff x.x
at any rate, I still like Cynder ^^ I just prefer how I imagine little dragons....don't we all? :D

You see them as mammals then? Hm. That's different. The general few agrees closer to reptilian, though warm or cold blooded is pretty debated. =P You know, according to the Evolution Theory birds ARE dinosaurs, or rather what they all became.
xD PTERODACTYL. Aerodactyl is a Pokemon you nerd. (<-That's a compliment) xD Haha<3 Also, pterodactyl's and their kin were NOT actually dinosaurs. ;3 No really. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pterosaur ^^ Besides, style of wings varies a good deal between different views of dragons, too, including those without wings at all. :3 (Here's Quetzacoatl, an ancient Aztec dragon~ http://www.staten-illustration.com/.....atl_web900.jpg :3 Even in ancient times no one could agree on any of this stuff, hehe.)
