heeeeeeeee's not complaining o.o there is a HUGE difference between pointing out and complaining, and he's right, people in the furry fandom do seem to be more open about foot fetishism then people outside of the fandom o.o mrrrtards however was the only wrong thing he said and even so, why make a big deal out of it?
S'ok. I'm not worried about it. It's why I stopped when I did, because I knew at least a couple wannabe knights in shining armor were going to get overly defensive about it and start trying to act like heroes of the people. You can't say something that's not 100% PC in places like these without getting hit with the "troll" or "flamer" label by some thin-skinned schmuck.

Really, more than anything else, it comes down to the fact that people can't keep it in their pants when they leave comments. First of all, fantastic picture Zen, very very sexy in my opinion! I do adore the way you render Flamedramon in general, in particular the shiny crinkly skin effect. Good job.
Feel free to ignore the rest of this silly long comment however if you prefer as it is mostly aimed at others who complain about people posting feet/paw art and accusing them of 'forcing' it onto people against their will when it is often simply not true, and sorry for temporarily spamming your comment page but I think other feet/paw fans might find this intersting and so what better place.

So , SamoyedSin, this actually isn't solely directed personally or hatefully at you. I come in pro-criticism and un-butthurt peace lol. Its more of a general babble because I've seen this mindset elsewere in others and have abeen puzzled but it at times. I'm also totally cool with anyone who perhaps may or may not be into a particular fetish. There are lots that I'm not into that many people seem to love here, so I know well how it feels to be on the other side, and I even occasionally cringe myself at some of them privately!
But I'm curious... what makes you feel that people who have a fetish for feet/paws in the furry fandom are much more vocal and "forceful" about it than all the hundreds of other odd fetishes the fandom has? Perhaps it just feels so, because its one you may personally care the least about therefore you notice it more when people passively publish stuff about it? Could it be a possibility?
Personally I've never noticed that the feet/paw fans are any more 'public' or 'forcing' with their kink than other unusual fetishes like Vore for example. I see allot more Vore realted art than feet on here accidently even though Vore is not my thing personally.
I can understand that people may not see what the appeal is in a particular kink and feel somewhat frustrated and not want others to show it so publically, I can understand that and honestly dont mind if they dont. But this IS a kinky fandom and website in nature. So I do fail to see why it is a problem if people "publically" express their kinks in a virtual, secluded place like this and in a fandom like this which DOES have naturally a high concentration of eccentric personalities.
I'm often puzzled when people complain about having something "forced" on them weather it's a fetish, or simply someone's sexual orientation etc, almost as if they are expected to never show it because its unusual and thus' some random guy publishing a feet picture can somehow feel like they are "forcing" their fetish onto them against their will.
What is it that Zen and others have done that has specifically "forced" the feet kink onto you so unwillingly intensely? Has he continuously personally pressured you into seeing feet art and talking about feet and paws with you against your openly expressed will in an active attempt to convert you? THAT would be "forcing" a kink on someone. But someone merely openly expressing a kink they have via their own artwork and making it publically available for anyone who MIGHT possibly be interested is not "forcing" anything on anyone. Anyone who might not be into it is most welcome to ignore it, and I’m sure the Zen won't lose any sleep if every furry in the fandom doesn't like feet/paws as much as he does. So I don't see what the problem is.
I've noticed certain people seem to act with this unknowing and unconscious sense of: "I don't really fully get this kink therefore people should not express it when I'm around" without realizing that they are in effect insinuating it's THEIR duty to go out of their way to make sure you don’t come into contact with their unusual preferences. That sounds like censorship to me when you get down to it. I don't particularly like buff/muscled guys, which I see allot in the furry fandom, including somewhat in your own gallery, but I don't make a point of feeling that you or others out there have some conspiracy to force it on me. Nor do I feel that you shouldn't publically publish art like that just because *I* personally might not like it. I respect that you might like it and feel no hardship. Live and let live.
Perhaps in the future FA and other sites will have the ability to block certain fetish categories from ever appearing to a particular viewer if they don't personally like a certain fetish and set it to be that way in some kind of preference panel. But until that day, for people expressing their loves passively in art on a already obscure and niche site, In my opinion it will remain the moral duty of the NON-fans to let it slide and simply ignore with tolerance. Go and socialise constructively with other people who also don’t like feet etc, Instead of going deliberately out of your way to put down those who DO, and then complain and mock when they want to fight back.

LOL Very true. However it's not just us foot-fetishists though. I find it kind of amusing how most of the out of the ordinary kinks you tend to see in the furry community compared to any other communities out there. Like for example, in the yaoi community I rarely see many foot-fetishists do foot related arts.
The only explanation I can think up is about the furry community is completely open with each other, and so to meet people who like the same things as them they post certain things. Some more than others

and to reply to this, the furrys, well a mojority of them, are rather excentric and youg, not young physically (im 34... ) but often, its a common trait of aspergers syndrome, im not saying that furys have aspergers i am saying that aspergers are furrys! and also a trait of aspergers is often have a problem with how other people might react, and just blurt out what they are thinking, i often blurt out what i am thinking as i have aspergers and why its foot fetishes? because it is the most common fetish!

Very very nice work there, my friend. Beautifully coloured and very well formed. The whole thing has a soft warm glow to it which, as the paw slut I am, is rather appropriate too!

To be honest, I don't like'em. Yes, I know that probably just shocked anyone that knew me.
The reasons I don't like them are just personal preference though. I don't like the soft, glowy style of painting; it lacks crisp detail and good contrast, and comes off as blurry. While it makes for a soft and gentle sort of image, to me, it makes it harder to imagine it as real. The other thing I don't like, and this is most definitely a personal thing, is that they got stuff dripping on them. Not that I don't like that particular stuff, I just don't like anything on the feet - I'm more of a footpaw purest and if they were real, would want to enjoy just them and not anything on them.
Such is the complexities of making pics for the masses though - for all those that like them, there will always be those that don't. I am glad though to see you making pure footpaw pics Zen - been hoping you might try your hand at that for a while, and do hope to see more. :)
