Lost but yet found

Back in July of 2016, my brother and I went to Detroit to pick up his friend who was visiting us for the week on our summer vacation. As we pulled up to the drop-off/pick-up area and outside the car window, I spotted this lost Panda bear. All alone and forgotten by his previous owner while sitting in the hot sun.
I couldn't leave the bear there to be tossed away or worst. So after greeting my brother's friend, I walked up to the bear and picked it up and happily buckled the bear into the car seat and posted this picture on my facebook to see if anyone recognized this lost bear.
No one claimed the bear and my family convinced me to keep him and give him a good home here with me. Just like how Paddington Bear got his name, I named the bear Detroit after the city I found him in.

OP
I thought about buying him a Hockey jersey for Detroit Red Wings. But since he was from California, I might buy one for that state's team.
