This was an incredibly fun commission for 
Qtho and 
Sandalwood. I simply adore their characters, who have a species similarity with Leonard and I. These guys have wonderful imaginations and were so lovely to work with.
From Qtho's descrition:
The jovial brass of dragon speech resounds dully in the shelf clad chamber, punctuated with the lean tone of a smaller voice, trading words long into the hour.
Ah, the pleasant evenings spent cozy in candle lit lair, deep in conversation. That gregarious individual perched upon the trunk is Sandalwood, a kind fellow of a rabbit, and a good friend to a melancholy dragon. Haha! All around my lair, books and shelves stacked high, the perfect hoard for an aspiring lore-drake.

The wisdom on the expression of Qtho, the genuine curiosity of Sandalwood, the wonderfully portrayed repository of knowledge they find themselves in, this is too good ^.^

And I do look forward to that one as well! Though I must say this one is so lovely, I may have to snag a slot in this style in future openings to tell a ... gentler ... story of draconic Mag in the future, one that is not so filled with rage XD

Ha oh gosh I worked so hard on that perspective before I was able to make any leaps in progress in the beginning, so thank you!
I didn't keep track of my hours well towards the end of this, but it took me around 12-15 hours which would put it at a $240-300 range at my current rate of $20 per hour. However, my rate is subject to change for my next opening.

Been watching you for a while and I've enjoyed pretty much everything you've posted. This one, however, speaks louder than usual to me. I adore the idea of a relationship between such different forms with open minds. The notion that these two can be friends and conversationalists just makes me all kinds of happy. The scene is just perfect in that regard. It begs to tell a larger tale: how did they come to know each other, what places do they hold within their society, how is such a relationship regarded by others... My mind just starts chasing itself in happy circles.
