Autumn is finally here (At least for us up in the northern hemisphere) And the leaves are changing color! Well, being in the middle of California, we don't get much color change unfortunately. But, I still love the season! Pumpkin flavored everything will be out! This means Gideon will be making pumpkin pie! My fave kind of pie!

Oh goodness, you made Gideon even cuter than before and I didn't know that was even possible! That said, I can't wait to try some of his own baking, especially since his paws seem a little baked too.

Cute little idea that came into my head~
*Gideon grins some as he sits down and looks at his protégée. The masterful pastry chef had just been asked if he could actually start teaching how to make the pie rather than constantly going over the basics. Seeing the grin, the young chef in training gulped some and took a step back* "Hey now, don't ya go on a be scared now. You wanna get on whit' the training, well fine then.~"
*Opening up his shirt, the large fox scratched his round belly some before putting his large paw up on his coffee table. The protégée gave him a confused look, but gulped when he continued to see that sly look on his teacher's face* "Now dealing with pie crusts as well as getting berries tightly packed into the pan without breakin' them is a task in and of itself. Ya wanna get on faster whit' your lessons? Alright then, you're gonna give my paws a proper massage during our downtimes from now on. When I feel ya hands are ready, then I will teach ya how to make the best pies all around! So, ya up for this offer?~"
*A bigger smile came across the fox's face as he watched his protégée's embarrassed look. As he wiggled his toes some at the boy, he slowly nods before walking forward and reaches out for the large paw.*

Someday, I'd like to experience a Californian autumn. Though we do get some rather spectacular colours here, the temperature drops suddenly from mid-20'C to below 10'C, and I prefer a more gradual change. Still, it gives the apples a sharper taste!

Wow! This turned out so very lovely :) Goodness... what is it about the way you draw fursons that makes me wanna both bury my face against that big fuzzy tummy for a hug AND nuzzle against those thick, smooth-looking footpaws?
The coloration here is great and very relaxed :) It was wonderful to get to see some of this come together and to see how all of the colors mix. I really love the lighting effects going on here with the blinds... Happy fall, Rodney, and thanks for sharing this!

Ohhh, that draw makes me want to do what he's doing on an off day!
(I'm lucky- my bedroom is facing west and it has blinds. With the drawing table and chair I have, I can have that fresh, cool air with pleasant sunbeams on me after constantly walking about 5 miles every day in my job as postal carrier. Yes, I will prop up my feetpaws-just like Gideon! )

I love this pic the best, seeing gideon in an un-buttoned shirt revealing his furry body and showing off one of his feet just makes me give the same reaction as my clawhauser icon and wanna get closer to him (but first wanna ask him if he really did change from a bully to a good guy)
