Continued from the previous scrap.
This page starts with the two characters' poses and the use of the long gaping jaws on top pulling on the otter's right arm. Then I messed with the lower bodies and discovered the picture got much simpler, as well as more fun, if the otter were half inside the aardvore's belly, leaving only one set of feet to deal with. At bottom left is an overhead study of the otter's shoulder positions, and some practice angling the belly-teeth; at bottom right is the idea for the aardvore's splayed left claw mirroring and overwhelming the otter's paw reaching out for help. The tentacles on that claw showed up during the detailing phase.
