This is... A really good concept. How have I not seen this before?
I just randomly came across this, did you ever do anything with it?
My mind is now full of game modes, ideas, and maps.
I'm going to wake up at, like, 6 in the morning and scribble bad ideas on my whiteboard...

Well I take concept I like base on games I see and played

example the semi-simple character creator
is base on dragon ball z xenoverse character creator
then I add in my twist of how to make it better.

But nowadays if a new Ratchet and Clank Game was made
I'll bet it would need a battle royale mode to survive XD
just call it "Ratchet and Clank Deadlocked 2"

If they make a Deadlocked 2, AND it's as good as the first one, my head will explode.--- I think my head is pretty safe.
But yeah, I'm kinda the same, I have game ideas, but computers and I don't get along very well.
I didn't post it here, but I DID have an idea a few years ago for an urban RPG based on Metropolis.
I never really went anywhere. I think I like your idea better. It has actual CONTENT. Shocking XD

Yeah I think it would be neat if they did made a deadlocked 2 or reboot
as Ratchet ad Clank did rebooted not to long ago.

Yeah my ideas are base on things I like, then I mix them together.
another example would be.
I would like a 3rd person game that plays
like devil my cry 3 and Max Payne 3 with a dash of tony hawk elements,
as you can dive kick with your sword and grind rail with it while shooting on it.
and if the enemies/monsters goes to close to you or lines up on close to the rails
you can grind on them as you cut them up in half or cut of some of their parts.
as you can throw your sword too and make it bounce around as you can "shaolin soccer" kick the sword around.
