This story says so much about inter-species relationships. I've never had any problem in that regard. To me, everyone's an equal until they prove otherwise. Then the challenge is accepting the differences since none of us are really "equal" in any measure of that term. We all have different backgrounds, experiences and knowledge. We all have strengths and weaknesses. The problems occur when when some members of a particular species seem intent on perpetuating the stereotypes others have of them. That's when old prejudices begin to surface...and we all have them.

Very charming. Not much to say, other than that. Well... to be honest, I found the dog's behavior very rude. If people want to be left alone, they should be left alone. But, maybe in this case it was good that the fox was dragged out from his fortress. I would have flipped out and left the beach, alone, if somebody had bounced a beach ball on me.

Very enjoyable little piece, light-hearted, with perhaps a seed of some much grander idea. I enjoyed it. Good work.
