So since Sonic the Hedgehog stories were effectively what I cut my teeth on with regards to writing fan-fiction, I thought I'd show you my latest effort. What you are looking at here is the beginning of an almost year-long rewrite of a story I started, in its earliest form, in mid-2014. I managed to reach approximately two-thirds of the way through what I was intending to write, before numerous plot-holes and inconsistencies reared their ugly heads, and that, along with the fact that I'd completely butchered Sonic's personality, was the main reason I practically threw the whole lot out and started again; bits from it do still remain in this rewrite, but on the whole it's almost unrecognisable from my original story. I've decided to make Sonic's name the sub-title rather than the main body of the title, and I think the reason for that may well become clear by the end of the prologue. Yes, I know, this prologue is almost 6,000 words long...hey, I've got a lot of scene-setting to do, O.K? (XD) Anyways, I hope you enjoy :) Note that the prologue will be the only non-mature chapter in this story due to the rest involving cursing, and moderate violence in some.
