So you know that fantasy everyone has where this fancy lady from the 1920s is a passenger on a big lovely old train going across the country, and she meets the ...uh. Not conductor, but the greasy, sweaty mongrel girl [ok historical liberties, fuck off] who does the shoveling and the dirty work that runs the train? And in your fantasy she and the conductor are the same person, so the conductor is all grimy and sweaty and coal-smeared and stuff? And then since they're going across the country they have plenty of time to socialize, and and and the conductor is a lesbian and not too shy about it, but the fancy lady is a little nervous about the giant crush she seems to be developing because she has never felt these feelings for a womannn, and but then they get along so well that they fall in love by the time they reach California, and the conductor asks her fancy ladyfriend to stay and live in the train with her and they spend their days together riding back and forth across the country the end? You guys know that one? ...Or is that just me.






this would come across a lot clearer/better if i had the patience/balls to do at least a half-assed background with like, a train in it. also coloured, because then i could make her look all dirty.
