Yes, my chickens and turkeys do that too, but they are nowhere near as persistent as the emus. We put up a fence around our little front bushes since the birds werent even eating them, they were just shredding them, but we've given up on keeping them away beyond hosing down the front patio daily to keep it in some semblance of order. They shall not be contained!
