A character from a long neglected cowboy western I was working on.
It focused around a tragic gay lovestory before tragic gay cowboy
lovestories won oscars :P hehe.

Anyway, the character design in a more Lucky Luke fashion.
Will have to crank more on this. No reason not to.

The experiment here was with coloring in photoshop over a loose drawing.
I was using transparency layers to keep the colors and lines separate.
This will be basic to some of you, but was a revelation to me. I made a
few loosely colored images this way. Photoshop was still very elusive for
me to understand in a painterly way, so the most I could do was a kind of
raw scribbled look. It worked for me for a while.
