Patron commission for  jalen of his armored super character after a tangle with what I *think* is a Hind. I say think because this was an interesting one to tackle in that I can draw a regular helicopter just fine using reference but a crashed one, no, a PROPERLY crashed one proved very difficult. I had attempted exactly this with a mangled cityscape back in college and got a scathing review from Shawn Martinborough; who easily recognized that I had used improper reference. The review stuck. I ended up having to look up "helicopter crashes" because there's just so much going on with the physics of a crash that I couldn't figure out how to take a whole helicopter and make it look mangled. So I took a crash and drew from that, taking an actual crash and modifying it to fit my composition and it came out really dang cool; though it took much longer than anticipated.
