I've often thought of the 1990s Godzilla to be the absolute best and most appealing design out of all of the King's various incarnations. I've often marveled at how comic book artists like Matt Frank continued to make amazingly detailed works and comics... I thought I'd try drawing him tonight, and I think it turned out rather well. I see enough room for improvement to keep drawing him some more though... and I still need to merge him with Tyrnn...

Loved the older version of godzilla as it still had a bit of a dragon head before it became a simply lizard head ( 2000 i think ) .
Like to inmagine him standing in a burning city , the lighting from below helps . ^^
Old good times watching movies about giant monsters kicking each others rear while devastating a tiny city inbetween and while it .
